Lying – introduction and bible study guide

Introduction:
The father of lies himself, Satan or Lucifer is the creator of lying. He has used the tools of a lying tongue and eye to deceive millions into rejecting the Truth Himself, Jesus Christ.Lying has never been a trivial matter to God. Sadly, it remains so for mankind.

Why? Because the chief liar himself whispers to us the cuteness of a little child fibbing, the girl or boyfriend “telling a little white lie” personal pleasure, the spouse concealing a matter and more.

The opposite of lying is truth. Jesus Christ alone claims to be the source of truth and in fact, is The Truth! Satan hates him and goes about tricking all who are tempted to follow Jesus Christ with his lies and deceptions.
